Psalm 11:3 - "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" In the construction of any building, the foundation laid determines the size and height of that building. Similarly, the growth of the believer is determined by the spiritual foundation laid. The objective of this course is to lay a strong biblical foundation in the believer's life.

The course is designed for those who have received the Lord Jesus as their personal Saviour and wish to be water-baptized. The students will learn the importance and meaning of the Lord's Supper and Water Baptism.

Throughout biblical records, we see men and women experiencing life-changing encounters with the Living God. The Encounter Retreat is structured to provide the platform and assume the posture conducive for us to have an encounter with God.

By bringing participants back to the Cross, we return to the place where we meet with our Saviour and allow His Presence in the Spirit to transform us from inside out. We also come face to face with the hurts of the past and pain of the present and allow the Holy Spirit to bring healing and freedom. Finally, we catch a glimpse of the future that we can have in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sustainable soul-winning is not something that we can drive simply through programs or events but it must be a passion born out of a deep conviction about the lostness of man without the liberating power of the Gospel.

Only then can soul-winning become a natural overflow of who we are rather than what we do.

This series seeks to explore how soul-winning can be turned from a duty to a delight through the power of devine appointments!

NeighbourCare (NC) is a vision to partner with the local church in caring for the city. YWAM has been involved with practical crisis care in Perth since 1988. It is a great opportunity to reach out to families in need to demonstrate God's love in a very practical and real way - an open door for the church to step in and make the difference.

The aim is to connect these families with caring active Christians from their suburb. These relationships become the foundation for friendship, discipleship and community transformation. Topics covered - prayer and hearing God's voice, mercy heart of God, evangelism, counseling; Community Development and practical aspects of the ministry, i.e. family referrals etc.

A parenting and discipleship course designed by "Growing Families International" to provide parenting and family resources that will encourage and perpetuate the passing on of biblical values from one generation to the next.

The course provides practical instruction that will help parents understand and applybiblical ethics while instilling confidence that God's word is sufficient both in truth and practice. With confidence comes competency in parenting. This course will help you as a parent of young children look positively towards the teen years. It comprises a total of 17 lessions normally conducted in a home group setting of at least 1.5 hours.

Before the course starts there will be an introductory meeting to explain the content and commitment required of participants. Max of 20 people or 10 couples. The course notes are comprehensive and will cost participants $45.

This is the Biblical Portrait of Marriage and God's way for us to be together for life. Briefly, the course covers the following:

This course is recommended for all married couples or couples intending to tie the knot.

This course will teach you to hear the voice of God through His Word as He imparts a hunger and ability to listen to what He is saying to you and how to respond appropriately. Through the use of the SOAP principles and small group sharing we will learn to feed ourselves on God's Word rather than depend on others for our spiritual growth. The ultimate goal is that we be transformed into the likeness of Christ.

This training is the beginning of an exciting journey in the Cell Leader Interns' walk with the Lord and his involvement in the Cell Group Church. It explains the biblical basis for a Cell Group Church and provides him with the handles on how to be an effective Cell Leader. It helps sharpen his cell leadership skills and nurtures the shepherding heart of the trainee. On completion of this training, the Intern will understand the dynamics and mechanics of conducting Cell meetings as well as managing the Cell life of the growing community.

This course is only for those who are nominated by their respective Cell Leaders.

We do not try to be disciples but we train to be disciples. This is what IDT is all about. We will return to the ancient paths and revisit the basic elements of the inner life and what it takes to nurture depth in our spiritual walk. As we examine the basic spiritual disciplines of prayer, word, scripture memory etc, we return to the art of soul-care and establish afresh a foundation for intentional discipleship. This is Part 1 of becoming disciples of a certain kind.

This course is mandatory for cell leaders and their spouses. It is also open to appointed cell interns and MLE. The content will be repeated in the cell groups.
